Expert Analysis
Vensure is a US PEO and HR technology group that has added global EOR through a long run of acquisitions. It is not an EOR-first company. Founded in 2004 by CEO Alex Campos and backed by Stone Point Capital, it merged with the HR software company PrismHR in 2022 and has now completed more than 110 acquisitions. Its global arm, Vensure Global, offers EOR, global payroll, contractor management, international recruiting and IT equipment procurement. The strongest part of its EOR offering is the three-tier model. EOR Core covers employment only. EOR Plus adds recruitment. EOR Premium adds in-country HR management of the worker. Few EOR providers will source, employ and locally manage staff under one contract. It also suits US companies that already use a PEO and want one partner for domestic and international staff. Live support runs 24/7, and the group has deep Latin America reach through Vensure-owned brands such as Listo Global. The weaknesses matter. Independent reviewers report that most of its international EOR runs through partners rather than its own entities. The parent group holds neither IRS CPEO certification nor ESAC accreditation. Client reviews are mixed: G2 users praise the support staff, but BBB reviews describe payroll errors, missed payrolls and slow replies. Growth by acquisition also means your experience can depend on which Vensure brand or team you are placed with. Vensure is a reasonable choice for US small and mid-sized businesses that want PEO, payroll and some international hiring from one provider. Companies whose main need is global EOR at scale should compare an EOR-first provider with owned entities.
About Vensure HR
Expanding abroad means registering as an employer, running local global payroll, offering statutory employee benefits and following labour laws that change country by country. Through Vensure Global, Vensure acts as the Employer of Record for your international hires, so you can employ full-time staff in 175+ countries without setting up a local entity.
Vensure Employer Services was founded in 2004 and is headquartered in Chandler, Arizona, with a second major office in Duluth, Georgia. It built its business as a professional employer organization (PEO) for US small and mid-sized businesses, handling payroll, benefits, workers' compensation and HR compliance. In 2021 private equity firm Stone Point Capital invested in the company, and in September 2022 it merged with PrismHR, whose payroll and HR software is used by Vensure and thousands of other service bureaus. It has since grown mainly through acquisitions, passing 111 deals in 2026, including the IT procurement firm Tecspal.
Vensure's EOR comes in three tiers. EOR Core places workers you have already found on Vensure's local employer setup. EOR Plus adds recruitment, so Vensure sources and hires the talent. EOR Premium adds full in-country HR oversight of the employee. Alongside EOR, Vensure Global offers contractor management, global payroll for companies with their own entities, and country hiring guides. Vensure says its group serves over 161,000 businesses and processes over $150 billion in annual payroll, although much of that figure comes from its PrismHR software users rather than directly employed staff.
